As the new year of 2026 is fast approaching, here are some upcoming trainings and workshops:
GMRS Training January 10
The first training of the New Year will take place on January 10th from 10 am to noon at Norkenzie Christian Church, located at 2530 Crescent Ave. Eugene. This workshop will be for those who have an FCC GMRS License and an FCC GMRS Radio. The workshop will cover how to connect your GMRS radio to the Emergency Communications GMRS local Repeater. The facilitators for this workshop will be some of our own communications experts that have extensive experience using the GMRS radio.
What is Eugene EmComm? February 14
As we move past January and into February, training will continue. February 14th is not just Valentine’s Day, but also training day. The training that day will be “What is Eugene EmComm and how or where can I fit in”. The time for this training is 10 am to noon at Norkenzie Christian Church located at 2530 Crescent Ave. Eugene.
